EA has opened beta testing for the new and improved Ultima Online: Kingdom Reborn! it sports a whole new graphics engine (compared to the old UO). not much has changed it seems, but hey, at least it's an upgrade.

they are advertising it as "the game that gave birth to the modern MMORPG.." call me a nooblet, but i thought EverQuest did that? i don't know, that's like asking me which came first, the chicken or the egg... maybe someone can enlighten me. i guess i'm not so old school. :(
